On November 2nd, the Board of Commissioners joined the county Health Department to unveil the new HealthFirst Care and Wellness Center in Bellmawr. The center will also be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic where patients can receive their annual Moderna shots.
The current site of the Bellmawr Regional Health Center has been renovated to offer residents a more welcoming health care experience.
“We are rolling out the rebranding so we can reach a broader patient base by attracting new patients and improving the experience of existing clients,” said Commissioner Virginia Betteridge, liaison to the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services. “We want patients to know that we offer an array of services including vaccines, diagnosis and treatment of STIs, health and social service referrals, sexual health education and risk-reduction counseling, partner notification services, PrEP referrals, HIV screenings, lead blood level screening and more. This rebranded wellness center will serve as a hub for community health here in Camden County.”

Sexual Health Clinic Services:
- No appointment necessary- clients are seen on a first come, first served basis
- ALL sexual health services provided at no cost
- Do not have to be a Camden County resident
- Completely confidential
- Sexual health counseling provided on-site
- Referrals to P.R.E.P providers available
Testing Services:
Urine testing (1 week turnaround results):
- Gonorrhea
- Trichomonas
- Chlamydia
Blood testing (1 week turnaround results):
- Syphilis
Swab testing (1 week turnaround results):
- Herpes- symptoms must be present at visit
Rapid finger prick testing (20-minute turnaround results):
- HIV

Tuberculosis Clinic Services:
- No walk-ins accepted, must call to schedule an appointment
- Client must have a referral
- No PPD testing offered for work related purposes
- Tuberculosis testing and treatment available on-site
