The Camden County Board of Commissioners established a Homeless Trust as is permitted under NJ State Code N.J.S. § 52:27D-287f
The Trust Fund Advisory Board meets on the first Thursday of the month in February, April, June, August, October, and December at 9 a.m. The members are appointed annually by the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Director Cappelli is the Commissioner Liaison for the Trust Fund. The Trust Fund Advisory Board consist of residents from the three municipalities with the highest unsheltered homeless population based on the most recent point in time; three members representing non-profit agencies who serve the homeless and those at risk of homelessness; three members who are residents with lived experience. There is one representative from the County government and three at-large members.
