Department of Children’s Services
As the child care resource and referral agency for Camden County, the Department of Children’s Services is responsible for coordinating child care services, resources, and professional development within the 37 county municipalities. Since 1971, the office has operated under the administration of the Board of Commissioners and is funded by the NJ Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development.
It is our mission to promote and support high quality child care that is affordable and accessible to all families seeking care in Camden County.

ECC Enrollment Calendar
Beginning in November 2023, recording of child attendance is mandatory for all child care providers receiving payment through the NJ Division of Family Development (DFD) Child Care Assistance Program. For ongoing technical assistance, please contact us by
