Board of Taxation

Dear County Resident:

Welcome to the newly updated Camden County Board of Taxation website. We are pleased to announce a new, user-friendly website to make navigating the property tax information and assessment system easier for our constituents. Here you will find useful forms and guidelines, helpful hints and tips, frequently asked questions and other important data in reference to your property tax assessment and the property tax assessment appeal process. Our mission is to provide quality assistance to our residents in a friendly and professional manner. We hope you find our website helpful and easy to navigate.

Added/Omitted Assessments

Occasionally, property owners make changes or additions to real property after October 1, when municipalities set the value of property for tax purposes for the following tax year.

Also, sometimes properties are left off a municipality’s tax list in error.

When either of these occur, if there is an increase in value created, an additional assessment is sent to the property owner. You can appeal an added or omitted assessment with your County Board of Taxation.

The deadline for Added/Omitted property tax appeal filing is December 1, 2020.  All appeals MUST be received by close of business, 4:00 p.m. on the deadline day.

No cash payments will be accepted.  Check or Money Order only payable to “County Tax Administrator”.
Fees are not refundable
