(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr., has been notified by South Jersey Gas, that crews will be installing a gas main and completing tie-ins on West Fleming Pike beginning Monday, Feb. 3. The project will require a full closure of West Fleming Pike between the entrance to the Atlantic City Expressway and Route 73.
“This is a multi-day project that may impact commuters in the area during peak hours,” Cappelli said. “Motorists should plan ahead and be aware of how this closure may affect their route and travel time. While traveling nearby or along posted detour routes, always be extra cognizant of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and debris that may end up in the roadway.”
Beginning Monday, Feb. 3, and continuing through Thursday, Feb. 6, crews will close West Fleming Pike between the entrance to the Atlantic City Expressway and Route 73 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists will be directed along a posted detour route to circumvent the area.
This project is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
