A few showers / storms are possible this morning, mainly before 9-10AM. The morning will not be a washout and periods of dry time are expected. Any shower / storm activity looks to move out by 10AM, giving way to a mix of sun & clouds for the early afternoon. More showers / storms redevelop after 4 PM with the best chance for widespread showers / storms between 8PM – 12AM. Any afternoon / evening storm could be on the stronger side with the primary threats being gusty winds in excess of 50 mph and heavy rain. Much quieter weather settles in for the weekend with partly to mostly sunny skies and just a small chance for an isolated shower / storm on Saturday.
