(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be installing gas service at 806 Station Avenue in Haddon Heights tomorrow, Aug. 9. The project will require a portion of Station Avenue to be completely closed.
“This closure will likely impact daily commutes and traffic patterns, so be sure to allow yourself extra time to reach your destination,” Shin Angulo said. “Anytime a project requires the closure of a roadway you can expect sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions in the area surrounding construction.”
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., crews will close Station Avenue between 8th and 9th Avenue. Motorists will be directed to follow a posted detour route.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Aug. 9. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
