(Camden, NJ) – The Freeholder Board, along with St. Mary’s Parish and Gloucester City, are sponsoring Gloucester City’s 3rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 4, at 1 p.m.

“The Freeholder Board is proud to once again sponsor Gloucester City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade,” said Freeholder Bill Moen. “This celebration of the people and heritage of Ireland has become a St. Patrick’s Day tradition for everyone in Camden County.”

This year’s special guests will include Governor Phil Murphy and the Deputy Consul General, Shane Cahill. There will also be string bands, bagpipes, Irish dancers, Irish music, community groups and much more.

“There are great places all along the parade route to view the variety of performers,” Moen said. “We invite you to wear your green and bring your entire family to Gloucester City on Sunday.”

The parade begins at Martin’s Lake at the intersection of Baynes Avenue and Johnson Boulevard. The parade will then proceed down Monmouth Street to King Street before ending at Proprietor’s Park.

Before the parade, start your day with Opening Ceremony Mass at St. Mary’s, 426 Monmouth Street, at 11:30 a.m. After the parade, enjoy Gloucester City’s many businesses that will feature special food, drink and live music for the day.
