(Lindenwold, NJ) – Part of Kresson Road in Cherry Hill will close for the installation of a sewer main beginning Friday, Oct. 27. The stretch of Kresson Road from Brace Road to Willard Avenue will be closed beginning at 9 a.m.
“Motorists driving through the area can expect additional traffic, sudden stops and possible congestion while crews are at work,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Until construction is completed, motorists should plan to avoid the area by finding alternative routes and be extra cautious if driving in the construction zone.”
Crews will work from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, and continue working on Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. All lanes will be closed and will remain closed overnight. The remaining portion of Kresson Road from Willard Avenue to Haddonfield-Berlin Road will be open to local traffic only.
Motorists will be directed to follow pre-planned detour routes utilizing Brace Road and Haddonfield-Berlin Road to circumvent the construction area. After work begins on Oct. 27, the closure is expected to remain in place until Monday, Oct. 30.
