Roadwork to Close Roads

(Lindenwold, NJ) – PSE&G will be working on Lexington Avenue in Pennsauken on Monday, April 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be partial road closure westbound between Garden and Beacon avenues.

New Jersey American Water will be working on a water main on Kings Highway in Audubon on Monday, April 1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Wyoming and West Atlantic avenues.

PSE&G will be working on Union Avenue in Pennsauken from Monday, April 1 to Tuesday, April 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between National and Suckle highways.

Crews will be milling, paving and striping Station Avenue in Haddon Heights from Monday, April 1 to Tuesday, April 2 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Station Avenue between the White Horse Pike and West Atlantic Avenue and a full road closure of East and West Atlantic avenues between Garden and Green streets.

 PSE&G Electric will continue to replace utility poles on Burnt Mill Road in Cherry Hill from Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.  There will be a full road closure of Burnt Mill Road between Woodcrest Road and 7th Avenue.

PSE&G will be continuing conduit work on Market Street in Camden from Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 5. There will be a lane shift on Market Street between 10th and 3rd streets. Daily work hours from Monday to Thursday are between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and on Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.  

New Jersey American Water will be working on Wyoming Avenue in Audubon from Tuesday, April 2 to Friday, April 5 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Wyoming Avenue between Merchant Street and Audubon Avenue.

 

 

 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
