(Lindenwold, NJ) –
NJ American Water will be replacing water services on Wyoming Avenue in Audubon from Monday Sept. 11 through Friday Sept. 15 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. There will be full road closure of Wyoming Avenue between Nicholson Road and Merchant Street.
South Jersey Gas will be continuing their gas main renewal project on Jackson Road in Waterford Township from Monday Sept. 11 to Thursday Sept. 14 between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. There will be a partial road closure westbound on Jackson Road between 3rd Street and Atco Avene. Additionally, on Monday, there will be lane shifts at the intersection of Jackson and Cooper roads and on Tuesday to Thursday, there will be alternating traffic on Jackson Road between Hopewell Road and Cedar Avenue.
Crews will be installing a curb and sidewalk as well as milling and paving South Charleston Avenue in Lawnside from Monday Sept. 11 to Friday Sept. 15 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily. From Monday to Wednesday, there will be a lane shift on South Charleston Avenue between East Pine Street and Ashland Avenue. On Thursday and Friday, there will be a full road closure of South Charleston Avenue between Ashland and Sadler avenues.
PSE&G will be continuing their conduit work on Federal and Market streets in Camden from Monday Sept. 11 to Friday Sept. 15 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, there will be a lane shift on Federal Street between Hudson Street and Haddon Avenue. Between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., Monday through Thursday, there will be a lane shift on Market Street between North 6th and North 7th streets and a full road closure of Broadway between Market and Cooper streets.
PSE&G will be continuing a gas main install project in Camden from Monday Sept. 11 to Friday Sept. 15 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will be a full closure of Federal Steet between 39th Street and Route 130.
“Motorists should stay up to date on traffic changes and plan to take alternate routes to avoid any delays,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
