Roadwork in Camden County

(Lindenwold, NJ) – 

PSE&G will be performing a road restoration at 1405, 1468, 1533 and 1555 Haddon Avenue from Tuesday, Sept. 5 to Thursday, Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. On Tuesday, Bradley Avenue will be closed, on Wednesday there will be a lane shift from Bradley to Euclid avenues, and on Thursday there will be a lane shift from Gwen Faison Way to Vesper Boulevard.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5 and Wednesday, Sept. 6, PSE&G will be continuing work in Camden from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. On Tuesday, crews will be working on North Broadway between Federal and Market streets with a lane shift on Market Street with the left lane closed. On Wednesday, work will be done at the intersection of Federal Street and North Broadway.

 

 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
