Crews will be working on Woodbury-Turnersville Road in Gloucester Township on Monday March 11 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Woodbury-Turnersville Road between Lakeland and County House roads.
South Jersey Gas will be working on Chews Landing Road in Gloucester Township on Monday March 11 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound on Chews Landing Road between Old Black Horse Pike and King Street as well as a partial road closure westbound on Chews Landing Road between Taylor Avenue and King Street.
PSE&G will be continuing to replace utility poles on Hutchinson Avenue in Barrington from Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure of Hutchinson Avenue between Warwick Road and Highland Avenue.
PSE&G will be continuing conduit work on Market Street in Camden from Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15. There will be a lane shift on Market Street between 10th and 3rd streets. Daily work hours from Monday to Thursday are between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and on Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
PSE&G will be continuing to replace utility poles on Burnt Mill Road in Cherry Hill from Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure of Burnt Mill Road between Woodcrest Road and 7th Avenue.
Atlantic City Electric will continue utility pole work on New Brooklyn-Erial, Berlin Cross Keys and Williamstown-Erial roads in Gloucester Township from Monday, March 11 to Sunday March 17. There will be a partial road closure northbound on Williamstown-Erial Road between New Brooklyn-Erial and Jarvis roads between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. There will also be alternating traffic with flaggers on New Brooklyn-Erial Road between Erial-Clementon Road and Wynmere Drive and on Berlin Cross Keys Road between Williamstown-Erial Road and Redbud Drive between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
New Jersey American Water will be working on Kings Highway in Audubon on Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure of Kings Highway between Edgewood and Wyoming avenues.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
