Roadwork in Camden County

(Lindenwold, NJ) – 

Crews will be paving the intersection of Haddon Avenue and Federal Street in Camden on Friday. There will be a lane shift at the intersection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

PSE&G will be working on River Avenue in Camden on Monday Feb. 12 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound on River Avenue between 23rd and 22nd streets.

PSE&G will be continuing a gas main install on Ferry Avenue in Camden from Monday Feb. 12 to Friday Feb. 16 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure of Ferry Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Jackson Street.

PSE&G Electric will be continuing conduit work on Market Street in Camden from Monday Feb. 12 to Friday Feb.16. There will be a lane shift on Market Street between 10th and 3rd streets. Daily work hours from Monday to Thursday are between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and then from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday hours are between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Atlantic City Electric will continue utility pole work on New Brooklyn-Erial, Berlin Cross Keys and Williamstown-Erial roads in Gloucester Township from Monday Feb. 12 to Sunday Feb. 18. There will be alternating traffic with flaggers on New Brooklyn-Erial Road between Erial-Clementon Road and Wynmere Drive and alternating traffic with flaggers on Berlin Cross Keys Road between Williamstown-Erial Road and Redbud Drive between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will also be a partial road closure northbound on Williamstown-Erial Road between New Brooklyn-Erial and Jarvis roads between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.

 

 

 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
