(Lindenwold, NJ) – 

NJ American Water will be working on Nicholson Road in Audubon from Monday, Oct. 30 to Thursday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure on Nicholson Road between Atlantic and Ward avenues.

New Jersey American Water will be continuing water service replacements on Kings Highway in Audubon and Haddon Heights from Monday Oct. 30 to Friday Nov. 3 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Kings Highway between Edgewood and Wyoming avenues. 

South Jersey Gas will continue a gas main install on East Gibbsboro Road in Lindenwold from Monday Oct. 30 to Friday Nov. 3 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound on East Gibbsboro Road between the White Horse Pike and South Berlin Road.

South Jersey Gas will be continuing system improvements to the gas line on Erial Road in Winslow Township from Monday Oct. 30 to Friday Nov. 3 between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a full road closure on Erial Road between Wilton’s Landing and Williamstown-New Freedom roads.

 Crews will continue roadway and sidewalk restorations on Nicholson Road in Gloucester City from Monday Oct. 30 to Friday Nov. 3 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will a partial road closure eastbound on Nicholson Road between University and Oxford avenues.

Camden County will be performing storm sewer improvements on Church Road in Cherry Hill from Monday Oct. 30 to Friday Nov. 3 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.  There will be a partial road closure of Church Road between Coolidge and Oak drives.

PSE&G will be installing a gas main on Ferry Avenue in Camden from Monday Oct. 30 to Friday Nov. 3 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure of Ferry Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Jackson Street.

PSE&G Electric will be continuing conduit work on Market Street and Broadway in Camden from Monday Oct. 30 to Sunday Nov. 5. From Monday to Saturday, there will be a lane shift on Market Street between 9th and 7th streets. On Monday and Tuesday, there will be a lane shift on Cooper Street between North 5th Street and Broadway.  On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a lane shift on Market Street between Broadway and Haddon Avenue. On Sunday there will be a lane shift on Broadway between Cooper and Market streets.  These projects will run between 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Friday to Sunday.

 

 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
