(Lindenwold, NJ) – 

New Jersey American Water will be continuing a water service replacement on Kings Highway in Audubon and Haddon Heights from Monday Oct. 23 to Friday Oct. 27 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.  There will be a full road closure of Kings Highway between Edgewood and Wyoming avenues.

NJ American Water, will be working on Wyoming Avenue in Audubon from Monday Oct. 23 to Friday Oct. 27 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. There will be full road closure of Wyoming Avenue between Merchant Street and Audubon Avenue.

Camden County will be performing storm sewer improvements on Church Road in Cherry Hill from Monday Oct. 23 to Friday Oct. 27 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.  There will be a partial road closure of Church Road between Coolidge and Oak drives.

South Jersey Gas will be continuing system improvements to the gas line on Erial Road in Winslow Township from Monday Oct. 23 to Friday Oct. 27 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.  On Monday, there will be a partial road closure westbound on Erial Road between Wilton’s Landing and Williamstown-New Freedom roads. From Tuesday to Friday, there will be a full road closure on Erial Road between Wilton’s Landing and Williamstown-New Freedom roads.

South Jersey Gas will be installing a gas main on East Gibbsboro Road in Lindenwold from Monday Oct. 23 to Friday Oct. 27 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound on East Gibbsboro Road between the White Horse Pike and South Berlin Road.

Camden County will be working on a storm sewer on East Atlantic Avenue in Lindenwold and Laurel Springs from Monday Oct. 23 to Friday Oct. 27 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure on East Atlantic Avenue between Stone Road and West Park Avenue.

Crews will continue roadway and sidewalk restorations on Nicholson Road in Gloucester City from Monday Oct. 23 to Friday Oct. 27 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will a partial road closure eastbound on Nicholson Road between University and Oxford avenues.

PSE&G Electric will be continuing conduit work on Federal Street, Market Street and Broadway in Camden from Monday Oct. 23 to Sunday Oct. 29.  On Monday, there will be a lane shift on Market Street between 9th and 10th streets.  On Tuesday, there will be lane shifts on Market Street between 7th Street and Haddon Avenue as well as Cooper Street between North 5th Street and Broadway. On Wednesday, there will be lane shifts on Market Street at Broadway as well as Broadway between Market and Cooper streets.  On Thursday, there will be lane shift between 7th Street and Market. These projects will run between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, there is a lane shift on Broadway between Market and Cooper Street and on Thursday and Friday, there will be a full road closure of Broadway at Market Street. Work will be done between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. And on Sunday, there will be a lane shift on Cooper Street between Broadway and North 5th Street between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. 

 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
