PSE&G will be repairing a gas leak at 1308 Chapel Avenue in Cherry Hill on Thursday, Feb. 24. There will be a full road closure of Chapel Avenue between Princeton and Yale avenues as well as a partial road closure eastbound on Chapel Avenue between Yale and Harvard avenues for the duration of the project.

“This work is crucial for crews to complete and will be done as quickly and efficiently as possible,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Because crews will be working throughout the day, we suggest that motorists plan an alternative route ahead of time. And as a reminder, please stay extra alert when traveling through construction areas and watch for crews, debris and changing traffic patterns.”

Work hours will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.
