Road Work to Cause Closure in Cherry Hill

(Camden, NJ) – NJ American Water, will be installing a large water service at 1900 Route 70 in Cherry Hill on Tuesday, April 19 and Wednesday, April 20. There will a partial road closure northbound on Springdale Road between Route 70 Greentree Road for the duration of the project. 

 

“Please keep in mind that this is an overnight project, so make sure your headlights are turned on and you’re staying alert if you need to travel through the construction area,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works.

 

Work hours will run from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.

 

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
