Road work to cause lane shift in Camden, Pennsauken

PSE&G Electric will be continuing its utility pole replacement project on Westfield Avenue in Camden and Pennsauken.  Work will begin on Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 6.

There will be a lane shift on Westfield Avenue between North 33rd Street in Camden and 44th Street in Pennsauken.

Work hours will run from 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.


Road work to cause lane shift in Camden

PSE&G will be repairing a gas main leak at 1468 Haddon Avenue in Camden on Tuesday, May 3. There will be a lane shift on Haddon Avenue at the intersection with Whitman Avenue.

Work hours will run from 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.


Road work to cause road closure in Camden

NJ American Water will be restoring pavement on East State Street and Marlton Pike in Camden on Tuesday May 3, Wednesday May 4 and Thursday May 5. There will be full road closure of East State Street between River Avenue and Federal Street and alternating traffic with flaggers on Marlton Pike at the intersection with Berwick Street.

Work hours will run from 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. 


The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
