(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. has been notified by the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be installing a gas service at 1476 Kaighn Avenue in Camden on Friday, Jan. 3. The project will require a full closure of the roadway between Baird Boulevard and Park Boulevard.

“Road closures can affect traffic patterns throughout the surrounding area as motorists shift along detours and alternate routes, so it’s important to be aware of this project and how it may impact your typical commute,” Cappelli said. “Always plan ahead and be alert for sudden stops, construction vehicles, and debris that may end up in the roadway.”

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., crews will close the roadway between Baird Boulevard and Park Boulevard to all traffic. Motorists will be directed along a posted detour route to circumvent the area.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Friday, Jan. 3. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
