(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be repairing gas leaks at 1255 Kaighn Avenue in Camden beginning Wednesday, July 1. The project will require the complete closure of a stretch of the roadway while crews are at work.

“Please anticipate that you may require additional time to reach your destination if your route includes the stretch of roadway where crews are expected to be active,” Holcomb said. “Be extra mindful of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions when driving through the construction area, and always be cognizant of crews, vehicles, and debris which may end up in the roadway.”

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, crews will close Kaighn Avenue to all traffic between Haddon Avenue and Louis Street. The roadway will also be closed to non-local traffic between Louis Street and Mt. Ephraim Avenue. The closures will be in effect each day until 4 p.m.
