(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be repairing a gas leak beginning Wednesday, July 29, at 1303 Collings Avenue in Haddon Township. The project will require the complete closure of a stretch of the roadway while crews are at work.
“Please anticipate that you may require additional time to reach your destination if your route includes the stretch of roadway where crews are expected to be active,” Holcomb said. “Be extra mindful of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions when driving through the construction area, and always be cognizant of crews, vehicles, and debris which may end up in the roadway.”
Beginning Wednesday, July 29, crews will close Collings Avenue to all traffic between Mt. Ephraim Avenue and Calvert Avenue between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists will be directed to follow a posted detour route.
This project is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 31. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
