(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be restoring Kaighn Avenue in Camden at two different locations beginning Wednesday, Dec. 9. The project will multiple closures.
“This is a multi-day project that will require closures in differing locations on different days of construction,” Holcomb said. “Motorists should be aware of this schedule and how it may affect their commute. Whenever you are driving through a construction area, always exhibit extra caution and be especially mindful of sudden stops, and shifting traffic patterns, as well as any crews or debris that end up in or around the roadway.”
On Wednesday and Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., crews will close Kaighn Avenue between Haddon Avenue and Mount Ephraim Avenue. On Friday, Kaighn Avenue will be closed between Rose Street and Louis Street during the same hours.
This project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Friday, Dec 11. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
