(Lindenwold, NJ) – Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Gas and Electric Company (PSE&G) that crews will be performing a paving restoration on four locations on Haddon Avenue in Collingswood next week, beginning on Monday, June 7.

“Please be apprised of this schedule and how this project will affect traffic next week along Haddon Avenue. If your commute includes this area, prepare for delays and changing traffic patterns while crews are active,” Dyer said. “Any time you’re traveling near a construction project, stay especially alert for sudden stops, additional traffic, and crews or vehicles that may end up in the roadway.”

On Monday, crews will close the road to northbound traffic between Route 130 and Belleview Terrace. On Tuesday, a lane shift will be in place between East Wayne Terrace and West Franklin Avenue. On Wednesday, a lane shift will be in place between Browning Road and East Coulter Avenue and between East Coulter Avenue and East Palmer Avenue. On Thursday, there will be alternating traffic between Frazer Avenue and Fern Avenue.

A posted detour route will guide motorists around the impacted area. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
