Favorite High School Memory: My most cherished highschool experience is the one experience that I will always hold high value in my life, from day to day. The stressful first days of highschool, I walked into the cafeteria for the first break in the day. I saw a few people that I was already close to, & in that one period, I met one of their friends, who to this day holds the title as my best friend. I will always hold the memory of meeting him as my favorite, because he is the one person who has always pushed me to be the best that I can be. He keeps me going when the world gets tough. He gives me motivation where there is none. And for that, he deserves to be such a valued memory.

Favorite High School Memory: There was a kid named Malik my sophomore year. He was a senior at the time, so I only got to do one show with him. Malik came over from being on the football team, so no one really knew what to expect. This kid rocked. He had a great voice, and he picked up on acting very quickly. He made friends with everyone in the cast and crew, including me. One night after a show, him, me, and a few other kids got a table at Applebee’s and hung out. The night was filled with jokes and stories. I loved it. My favorite part was Malik somehow slipping it to the waitress that it was my birthday. It was not. Malik quickly told me what he did as the famed birthday song started. In fact, he told me so fast that I was laughing through the whole thing.

Matt Eyles
