(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, has been notified by the Borough of Brooklawn that crews will be conducting roadway improvements on Old Broadway/Railroad Avenue in Brooklawn beginning Tuesday, Aug. 11. The project is expected to require the full closure of the roadway between North Wilson Avenue and the Brooklawn American Legion.
“This project will impact traffic along the roadway and throughout the immediate area for several months,” Holcomb said. “Motorists should plan ahead and prepare to avoid the area is necessary. As always, be extra alert for sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, crews and debris when driving near the construction area.”
Beginning Tuesday morning, crews will close the affected stretch of roadway every day between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. A posted detour route will guide motorists around the affected area.
This project is scheduled to be completed on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
