(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by New Jersey Transit that crews will be replacing a bridge deck on South Egg Harbor Road in Winslow Township beginning Monday, Nov. 18. The project will require a complete closure of the intersection of South Egg Harbor Road and Hall Street while the project is underway.

“Motorists should be aware of how this project and the related detour may affect their commute and the surrounding area,” Shin Angulo said. “The detour is likely to add travel time for motorists attempting to utilize South Egg Harbor Road and will also affect traffic patterns and congestion along the detour route. When driving through the area, be sure to be extra mindful of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and any crews or debris that may enter the roadway.”

Beginning on Monday, Nov. 18, the intersection of South Egg Harbor Road and Hall Street will close and will remain closed until the project is completed on Friday, Nov. 22. This is a 24-hour closure while the project is underway.

Motorists will be directed to circumvent the project area by following a posted detour route utilizing Old Forks Road, Route 30, and Spring Garden Road.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Friday, Nov. 22. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
