New Jersey’s First Lady, Tammy Murphy, was onsite when mobile unit trucks from the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission visited Camden City on April 5th. The mobile unit from the Motor Vehicle Commission provided driver’s licenses, non-driver identification cards, registrations, handicap placards, and license plate surrendering to local residents. The visit targeted women and mothers as part of Murphy’s Nurture NJ Initiative.
Nurture NJ is a statewide awareness campaign that is committed to reducing infant and maternal mortality and morbidity and ensuring equity in care and in outcomes for mothers and infants of all ethnic groups. The campaign, which is devoted to serving every mother, baby, and family, includes a multi-pronged, multi-agency approach to improve maternal and infant health among New Jersey women and children.
