(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 35 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 9,241 in Camden County today and 550 total fatalities.
“The number one way our community can help us to prevent the spread of COVID-19 right now is to work with our contact tracers when they call. The information you provide to a contact tracer is only used to identify others who were exposed to the virus and to keep them from exposing others,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “We know that these are awkward conversations, but they are critically important to protecting our community. If we combine widespread contact tracing cooperation with the use of masks and social distancing, we will see the spread of coronavirus slow dramatically.”
