(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 122 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed between Saturday, July 11, and Monday, July 13. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 8,211 in Camden County today and 501 total fatalities.

“Although our region’s COVID-19 numbers remain relatively steady, we have to be extremely careful as much of the country experiences profound levels of viral transmission. Just this weekend, at least 20 states set records for new cases in a single day,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “We cannot afford to lose the months of progress that we have made in beating back coronavirus. We each have to do our part to save lives and keep one another safe. If you travel to any of the states listed in the governor’s quarantine advisory, self-isolate for 14 days; if you are in public, wear a mask, even if you’re outdoors; and maintain social distancing whenever possible. We can continue to reopen our economy and move forward if we act responsibly.”
