(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 48 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 7,240 in Camden County today and 352 total fatalities.
“New Jersey and its residents took this threat extremely seriously from day one, and it is largely because of their sacrifices that we are continuing to see a decline in new cases,” said Freeholder Louis Cappelli, Jr. “What is happening in other states underscores the dangerous reality of this virus. If we take our eye off the ball for even a few days we could see spread increase exponentially. That’s why we have to continue social distancing, wear a mask when you are in public, stay home if you’re sick, and take this virus seriously. If we keep up guard up and follow the advice of our public health experts we can stop the spread of coronavirus.”
