Favorite High School Memory: The night before my junior prom last year something went wrong with my original dress. It was made out of African fabric and was suppose to be perfect. However, the mistake in the dress was not an easy fix so my mom and I decided to make a whole new dress. Which we did. It only took about 9 hours. This dress turned out to be perfect in that it had pieces of my original dress in it, so my date did not have to worry about the color of his clothes or the color of the bouquet he got me. The color of the dress ended up being a combination of yellow and two different shades of blue. Coincidentally, my two best friends that I went with also had blue dresses. And each one matched a shade of blue on my dress. So we all ended up matching. We had an amazing time taking photos before the dance and had a blast dancing all through the night. After the dance, we went to the Silver Diner and had some milkshakes with a bigger group. We just hang out and enjoyed our milkshakes until the night was over. It was such an amazing experience and I am happy I got to share it with my best friends. Considering we will possibly not have prom this year, I am happy to have had such an experience.
