(Lindenwold, NJ) – Commissioner Al Dyer has been notified by the New Jersey Department of Transportation that Mays Landing Road (Route 73) will be closed and detoured for priority repairs to a railroad crossing in Winslow Township.
Beginning at 7 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, July 1, until 5 p.m. Friday, July 2, Mays Landing Road (Route 73) is scheduled to be closed at the railroad crossing near 14th Street in Winslow Township. This will allow crews to complete priority repairs to a sinkhole near the crossing.
“Please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination and remain alert if your route includes this section of Mays Landing Road in Winslow Township,” said Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Any time a project requires the closure of a roadway you can expect sudden stops, new traffic patterns, and other changing conditions.”
A posted detour route will guide motorists around the impacted area. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
