(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by NJ American Water that crews will be installing a water main on Lake Boulevard in Lindenwold tomorrow. The repairs will require Lake Boulevard to be fully closed between West Park and Scott Avenues.
“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
Beginning Thursday, March 7, crews will be installing a water main on Lake Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The affected stretch of roadway will be closed until the installation is completed on Wednesday, March 20. Motorists will be directed to utilize a posted detour route in order to circumvent the construction area. Lake Boulevard will also be closed to thru traffic between Laurel Road and Scott Avenue while the project is underway.
This project is expected to be completed on Wednesday, March 20. Scheduling and project timing is also dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
