(Lindenwold, NJ) – Part of Kresson Road in Cherry Hill will be closed beginning Friday, Aug. 18, for the construction of a deep sanitary sewer connection. The stretch of Kresson Road from Brace to Haddonfield Road is expected to be closed to thru traffic until Monday.
“Motorists driving through the area can expect more traffic than usual, sudden stops and changing traffic patterns,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Until these repairs are completed, motorists should try to plan around the affected route, and take extra caution when driving through the construction area is a must.”
Local traffic will remain open on both sides during the work and local businesses will remain open. A detour route will be in place throughout the duration of the construction. Motorists will be directed to utilize the intersection of Haddonfield and Brace Road in order to bypass the construction area.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Monday, Aug. 21, but scheduling is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen variables.
