(Lindenwold, NJ) – Camden County Commissioner Al Dyer has been notified by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) that I-676 southbound Exit 1C to Collings Avenue will be closed and detoured overnight this week as an intersection improvement project begins in Camden.

“This project is being completed as part of a $2.4 million state-funded intersection improvement project that will upgrade pedestrian ramps and traffic signals throughout Camden County.” Dyer said. “As part of the project, the traffic signal improvements will bring the intersections into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.”

Beginning at 11 p.m. Monday, May 10 until 5 a.m., and continuing nightly through Thursday, May 13, NJDOT is scheduled to close and detour I-676 southbound Exit 1C to Collings Avenue.
