(Camden, NJ) – On September 5, a new flooring project will begin at the Ferry Avenue Library Branch, located at 852 Ferry Ave in Camden. New carpet and vinyl tile flooring will be installed throughout the entire building, and the project is estimated to last until the end of September.

“This is a significant investment that we are making to improve the quality of our libraries,” said Linda Devlin, director of the Camden County Library System. “Our libraries are a vital resource to Camden County residents, and we want to make sure that each branch is in the best shape possible.”

For most of the month, the branch will remain open, but certain areas will be limited or blocked off while work is done.

The branch will be closed on Friday, Sept. 22, Monday, Sept. 25, and Tuesday, Sept. 26 while the flooring is installed in the main entrance and central part of the facility. The library will be able to reopen on Saturday, Sept. 23.
