Ferry Avenue to Close for Utility Tie-in In Camden

(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, has been notified by the Branch Village Apartments that crews will be conducting a utility tie-in along Ferry Avenue in Camden on Tuesday, Nov. 24. The project is expected to require the full closure of Ferry Avenue between South 9th Street and South 10th Street.

“Motorists should always be aware of shifting traffic patterns and other road hazards when driving through or near a construction area,” Holcomb said. “Remember to always should be extra vigilant for sudden stops and any crews, vehicles, or debris which may end up in the roadway.”

Between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., crews will close Ferry Avenue between South 9th Street and South 10th Street. A posted detour route will guide motorists around the affected area.

This project is scheduled to be completed by 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
