Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. will hold a virtual address to update the public on the County’s coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic response on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11 AM.

Scavenger Hunt

Please join us for our first-ever in-home Scavenger Hunt! We will have two hunts this month, one on January 13th and one on January 20th. Both will take place via Zoom from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Please contact Karen Weidner at the email address below for Zoom information.

Camden County Improvement Authority Board Meeting

The Camden County Improvement Authority Board of Commissioners will hold its monthly board meeting on this date starting at 8 AM. Until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic all meetings normally held at the Camden County Improvement Authority, 2220 Voorhees Town Center, Voorhees, NJ 08043 will be held remotely by telephone at 8 AM with call in number to be provided.

This schedule is unofficial and for public convenience only. Dates and times are subject to change and are advertised in local news publications in accordance with New Jersey’s Open Public Meetings Act. In addition, all agendas are subject to change.

Spectrum Sports

Tired of staying home and want to get in shape? Join our friends at Spectrum Sports for a series of free socially distanced fitness classes this month. On January 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th classes will take place at Fellowship Bible Church located at 590 Jackson Road in Sewell. Classes for those ages 12 to 17 will take place from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Classes for those 18 and older will take place from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Additional classes will take place on January 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th and 28th at Pursuit Fitness and & Training located at 5360 Route 42, Unit 4 in Turnersville. Classes for those ages 12 to 17 will take place from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm. Classes for those 18 and older will take place from 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm. Caregivers Virtual Support Group: Branching Out to Caregivers

Branching Out to Caregivers is a caregiver support group that provides resources and health caregiving. Join us from 12 PM to 1 PM on zoom to learn about caregiver stress, legal concerns, respite programs, adult medical day centers, Alzheimer’s and dementia education and much more. This event is presented by the Camden County Board of Commissioners, Department of Health & Human Services Division of Senior & Disabled Services and ADRC.

Camden County Board of Commissioners Caucus Meeting

The Camden County Board of Commissioners will host its monthly Caucus Meeting on January 19th at 12PM at 520 Market Street, Caucus Room – 6th Floor in Camden, NJ 08102. Due to COVID-19, the meeting will be closed to the public but will be streamed live at www.CamdenCounty.com/live. Members of the public are welcomed and encouraged to view and participate via the live feed.
