Emergency Drainage Work Begins on Fleming Pike

(Winslow Township, NJ) –The Commissioner Board’s Department of Public Works began performing emergency drainage work on Fleming Pike in Winslow Township today. The road between South Egg Harbor Road and the White Horse Pike will be closed for the duration of the 13-day project.

 

“This emergency drainage work is necessary and will provide upgrades to critical infrastructure that controls flooding in the area,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “While the work is being conducted, drivers are encouraged to plan ahead for possible delays.”

 

Daily work hours will run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday through Friday until Nov. 22.

 

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
