(Lindenwold, NJ) – Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified that NJ American Water will be performing final paving of East Graisbury Avenue in Audubon from Monday, Aug. 16, through Wednesday, Aug. 18, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily.

Beginning Monday, the project will require the complete closure of East Graisbury Avenue between the White Horse Pike and Locato Avenue. There will also be a complete road closure Tuesday and Wednesday on East Graisbury Avenue between Haviland Avenue and Hopkins Road.

“Whenever a road closure is in place, motorists should expect longer travel times and additional delays throughout the construction area and surrounding roadways,” Dyer said. “Always remain extra vigilant when driving through or around active road crews and be aware of reduced speed limits while traveling through work zones. Also, be on the lookout for sudden stops, construction vehicles, and any debris that may end up in the roadway.”

The project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Wednesday, Aug. 18. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
