(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb has been notified by Pioneer Pipe that crews will be repairing a sinkhole and conducting the final restoration of Clements Bridge Road in Barrington beginning on Tuesday, August 25. The project is expected to require the full closure of Clements Bridge Road between Browning Road and Barr Drive on Wednesday night.
“Motorists driving through the area can expect additional traffic, sudden stops and possible congestion while crews are at work,” Holcomb said. “Overnight closures can affect traffic and it is incredibly important to be extra cognizant of reduced visibility, shifting traffic patterns, and any crews, vehicles, or debris which may end up in the roadway.”
On Tuesday, August 25 there will be a lane shift beginning at the intersection of Clements Bridge Road and Trinity Place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On Wednesday, August 26 there will be a full closure of Clements Bridge Road between Browning Road and Barr Drive from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
A posted detour route will guide motorists around the affected area. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
