(Voorhees, NJ) – This fall, the Camden County Library System is planning to keep kids moving, singing, and reading with its Story Time in the Park series, hosted by the Merchantville Branch. For the next four weeks, parents and children will be invited for a story in the park on Thursday mornings, accompanied by stretching exercises and sing-alongs.
“The Story Time in the Park series is part of the library system’s goal to offer pop-up programming which engages kids outside of the library’s physical walls,” said Freeholder Bill Moen, liaison to the Camden County Library System. “This allows the library to bring its resources to even more families in our communities, and is just a fun way to switch things up for those who are already taking advantage of all the opportunities presented by our fantastic county library system.”
The series will travel to a new community each week, engaging different families and helping children discover the joy of reading in an exciting new environment. Here’s when families can expect to see the series come to their community:

Make sure you stay up-to-date with the library system’s website and social media pages so you don’t miss when an event is coming to your local branch.”
