Students from the Camden County Technical Schools Pennsauken Campus, Gloucester City High School, Sterling High School, and Winslow Township High School, competed in the 2020 Camden County Consumer Bowl. The event, one of several hosted statewide, is an educational competition for high school students created to educate young adults on a variety of consumer issues.

“In an age dominated by online shopping and internet scams, the landscape of consumer issues has grown exponentially for this generation,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services. “The Consumer Bowl provides an excellent opportunity for our students to explore these issues and prepare for the challenges that await them after graduation.”

The Consumer Bowl is a quiz-style competition organized by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. Winners at the county level go on to compete at a regional contest in the spring where they can win individual medals and prizes.
