(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Atlantic City Electric that an ongoing utility pole project in Winslow Township will require a full closure of Williamstown Road on Saturday, Feb. 9. During work hours, Williamstown Road will be completely closed to traffic between Erial and New Brooklyn Roads.
“Motorists should be aware of this project and make an effort, if possible, to plan a different route if traveling in the area of Williamstown Road is necessary,” Shin Angulo said. “If traveling through the area is a must, please be aware that this may cause additional traffic, extra congestion and sudden stops. Give yourself extra time to reach your destination and drive safely.”
Crews will be active between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the day, but Sunday, Feb. 10 has been scheduled as a rain date for the project in the case of inclement weather.
Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
