(Camden, NJ) – On Wednesday, Oct. 25, Camden County will partner will the Center for Family Services, the Camden City School District and others to hold a virtual informational session on how to renew NJ FamilyCare (Medicaid) coverage and transition to other health coverage if you no longer qualify.
The New Jersey Department of Human Services is currently redetermining eligibility for every Medicaid member across the state. Camden County’s 178,000 Medicaid beneficiaries risk losing their coverage during this process if they do not receive or respond to communications from Medicaid.
“We encourage all beneficiaries here in the county to join us virtually for this informational session as it could be extremely helpful,” said Commissioner Virginia Betteridge, liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services. “It is crucial that all recipients reevaluate their qualifications to ensure that they will not be left without a plan when it comes to their healthcare, and we hope to answer any and all questions and concerns during this meeting.”
Meeting details and a Zoom link can be found on the linked flyers.
