(Camden, NJ) – Today, Oct. 15, is the last day for residents of the United States to complete the 2020 Census and ensure that their community receives fair funding and congressional representation. All self-response and field data collection operations by the Census Bureau will conclude at 11:59 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time (5:59 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Oct. 16).

All Camden County residents who have not yet completed their 2020 Census still have one final chance to make sure they are counted. The Census has never been easier to complete, and all modes of completion remain available until the end of data collection tonight.

  • Internet self-response will be available until 5:59 a.m. tomorrow, Oct. 16. Visit 2020Census.gov to respond.
  • Phone response will continue to be available during its regularly scheduled time throughout the day.
  • Paper responses will still be accepted if postmarked by Oct. 15.
  • Census takers will continue to follow up with nonresponse households until the end of the day today.

“We get one chance every ten years to make sure that our community is accurately counted, but we need everyone to participate so that we receive our fair share of funding for hospitals, schools, roads, and other critical infrastructure,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez. “If you have not yet completed the Census, please make time today to do so. Completing the Census takes just a few minutes, it’s extremely easy, and the information you share is protected and only used for the purpose of counting the population – your information is never shared with other agencies.”
