(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be conducting a paving restoration at 759 Haddon Avenue beginning Friday, June 19. The project will require a complete closure of a stretch of the roadway while crews are at work.

“This is a heavily traveled stretch of roadway, and this project has the potential to impact traffic in the surrounding area especially during peak hours,” Holcomb said. “With any road closure, it is important to plan ahead and understand how your route may be affected. When driving through or around crews and vehicles, always be especially mindful of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and any crews or debris that may end up around in the roadway.”

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 19, crews will close Haddon Avenue to all traffic between Washington avenue and Frazer Avenue. Haddon Avenue will also be closed to thru traffic between Lees Avenue and Collings Avenue. Motorists will be directed along a posted detour route to circumvent the construction area.

This project is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. on Friday, June 19. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
