116 COVID-19 Cases Identified in Camden County

(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 116 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 59,628and 1,315 total fatalities. 

Of today’s 116 new cases, 39 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 30 years old.

Today’s cases are involving residents living in the following municipalities:

“The Camden County Health Hub at Camden County College in Gloucester Township is now taking appointments,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “If you haven’t gotten vaccinated, please make an appointment at www.CamdenCountyVaccine.com.”

To date, 377,798 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 313,488 are fully vaccinated and 37,026 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
