Purchasing and Procurements

Welcome to the Camden County Division of Purchasing.  Camden County purchases all goods and services in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Local Public Contracts Law. Furthermore, it has long been the policy of the Camden County Board of Freeholders to require a publicly advertised, open and competitive process for the purchase of professional services, insurance, and other bid exempt services costing in excess of the bid limit.

The Division of Purchasing is committed to securing for Camden County taxpayers the benefits of unfettered competition. If you have any questions, please contact us at (856) 225-5439 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

As part of the Camden County’s commitment to making government more efficient and cost-effective, the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders  developed a purchasing portal. This portal includes all procurements for the County of Camden,  Camden County Board of Social Services, Camden County College, Camden County Improvement Authority, Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority, Camden County Pollution Control Finance Authority, and Camden County Technical School.  At this site you can register as a vendor, view advertisements and download countywide procurement opportunities.
